WATERLOO - Adrian A. Erickson, 72, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born Dec. 9, 1941, in West Union, son of Arthur and Agnes Hansen Erickson. He married Barbara Jeys on May 3, 1970, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, and they later divorced. He married Kathy J. Chase on Oct. 12, 1991, at Cadillac Lanes.

Adrian graduated from North High School, Fayette, in the first graduating class. He was employed with Kleen-Maid Bakery and then owned and operated Electric Parks Lanes from 1978 to 1989. He was currently owner of Cadillac Lanes and Waverly Bowl-Inn. He was a U.S. Marine veteran.

Survived by his wife; four daughters, Angela (Brad) Fangman of Waterloo, April (Bryan) Tippett of Cedar Rapids, Melisa (David) Hinders of Johnston and Leslie (Chad) Lyons of Denver; eight grandchildren, Abbey Fangman, Morgan Erickson, Natalee Lyons, Baylee Hinders, Brooke Hinders, Chase Lyons, Kayley Fangman and Grace Lyons; a brother, Richard of Cedar Falls; and two sisters, Dolly (Daryl) Bachtell and Kathryn (Willis) Weidemann, both of West Union.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery with full military rites by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff- Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials will be put toward a scholarship fund for youth bowlers in his name.
