WATERLOO - Wilma E. Riley, 90, of Waterloo, formerly of Hazleton, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2005, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 13, 1915, in Iowa Falls, rural Hardin County, daughter of John Woodard and Ella Mary Rasmusson Kline. She married Earl Clarence Riley on Nov. 12, 1966, in Hampton.

Mrs. Riley worked as a seamstress at Hinson Manufacturing Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1967.

Survivors include a stepson, Harold (Ruby) Nashua; seven grandchildren, Dan (Kathy) DeBeer, John DeBeer and Shelly Acklin, all of Waterloo, Sandy (Allan) Adolphs of Cedar Falls, Kerri Bangert of Albert Lea, Minn., Todd (Joyce) Riley of Allison and Dennis (Rhonda) Riley of Waverly; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Glen DeBeer; a stepson, Kenneth Riley; a grandson, Jeff DeBeer; a brother, Howard Kline; and two sisters, Mildred Robb and Arlene Wilson.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with burial in Hazleton (Fontana) Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
