Randy Joseph Youngblut, 59, of Waverly, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born July 25, 1954, in Waterloo, son of Norman and Beverly Schmitz Youngblut. On July 29, 1981, he married Pamela Koepke in Minden, Nev.

Randy graduated from Don Bosco High School, Gilbertville, in 1972 and then attended Hawkeye Institute of Technology, Waterloo. He was employed at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 30 years, retiring in 2006.

Survived by his wife; a son, Joshua (Jenna) of Knoxville; a daughter, Amanda (Kyle) Schueler of Allison; three grandchildren; his mother of Waterloo; and a brother, Ron (Louise) of La Porte City.

Preceded in death by his father.

There will be no services or visitation, his body has been cremated. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Denver, is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be left to the family’s discretion.
