WATERLOO - Naomi E. Bandfield, 93, of the Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center of Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls, formerly of Walnut Court Apartments, Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at the health center of natural causes.

She was born July 29, 1911, in Waterloo, daughter of H. Morgan and Lulu E. Griffith Bandfield.

Ms. Bandfield graduated from East High School. She worked at Northwestern Bell as a service adviser for 46 years, retiring in 1975.

She was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church, Telephone Pioneers and the Altrusa Club. She also volunteered at the Red Cross and the Grout Museum.

Survivors include several cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Roger "Jack" Bandfield.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Linden United Methodist Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery, Janesville. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
