CEDAR FALLS - Eileen Juliet Helmicks Borchers, 92, of Bickford Cottage, formerly of Oshkosh, Wis., died Tuesday, April 5, at Bickford Cottage of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 19, 1912, in Deerfield, Wis., daughter of Edwin J. and Ella Herreid Helmicks. She married Bartel Borchers May 11, 1942, in Madison, Wis. He died Nov. 4, 1986.

Survivors include three daughters, Paula (Robert) Giese of Naperville, Ill., Jane Borchers of Palo Alto, Calif., and Nancy (James) Stevenson of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, John Stevenson, Emily Stevenson, Elizabeth Giese-Filapek and Catherine Giese; and two nieces, Linda J. Spaeth and Beth A. Schrader.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Maynard and Edwin J. Helmicks.

Memorial service: will be held at a later date in Oshkosh. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. There will be no visitation. Her body was cremated. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
