CEDAR FALLS - Frieda D. Fletcher, 87, of the Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls.

She was born Sept. 1, 1917, in Reinbeck, daughter of Nicklaus and Katherina Krantz Boehm. She married Wilbur J. Fletcher Dec. 3, 1939, in Nashua. He died June 3, 2002.

Mrs. Fletcher was employed by Rath Packing Co. during World War II, and was later employed by Blacks Department Store, Welles Department Store and Sears.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas W. (Lola) of Sumner and Rocky J. (Sue) of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Beving of Creston.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Herman Boehm, and a sister, Dorothy Uhlenhopp.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, where family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
