WATERLOO - Carol A. Shropshire, 58, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at Allen Hospital.

She was born March 13, 1948, in Roanoke, Va., daughter of George Jr. and Mildred Preston Shropshire.

Survived by her stepmother, Hope Warden of Wytheville, Va.; three brothers, George (Nancy) Shropshire of Lynchburg, Va., Scott (Michelle) Shropshire of Fredricksburg, Va., and Mark (Stephanie) Shropshire of Old Saybrook, Conn.; and two sisters, Nancy (Lane) Hubbard of Roaring Gap, N.C., and Lynn McBride of Raleigh, N.C.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Food Bank.
