WATERLOO - Margery Ellen Kohli, 78, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1930, daughter of Edward and Mary Powers Buehler. She married Dale E. "Rex" Kohli on May 25, 1951, in Holland, Ohio.

She worked at Rath Packing Co. in Waterloo for 24 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Celebrations First Assembly of God Church.

Survived by her husband; a son, Steven D. (Michael) of Iowa City; a daughter, Tamara K. (Randolph) Mixdorf of Gilbert, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Ashlynd Kohli and Jedadiah Mixdorf; and two sisters, Alice Leohr of Evansdale and Estella Vaughn of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Henry, Roy, Ralph, Dale and Donald Buehler; and four sisters, Marion, Ruth, Lena and Edna.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Celebrations First Assembly of God Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
