JANESVILLE - Gladys Irene Bloker, 86, formerly of Janesville, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center, Shell Rock, of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Black Hawk County, near Waterloo, daughter of Rueben and Iva Knapp Lynch. On Aug. 3, 1941, she married Clarence F. Bloker at Janesville United Methodist Church. He died Feb. 12, 1997.

Mrs. Bloker graduated from Janesville High School in 1938, then worked at White Sea Cafeteria in Waterloo. Later she helped with the books at her husband's feed mill business in Janesville, retiring in 1976. She was past president of the UMW.

Survivors include three daughters, Janet (Myron) Destival of Denver, Charlotte (Tom) Brickman and Jean (Geary) Eibey, both of Janesville; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Cecil Lynch of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Bloker.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Janesville United Methodist Church, Janesville, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
