KNITTEL, TEGTMEIER, NAIRN, BIDDULPH

Mrs. Caroline Knittel, 88, of 1008 W. 4th St., died Monday at 6 a.m. at her home of complications incident to advanced age.

A native of Bremer county, she was born Carolina Tegtmeier May 3, 1868, daughter of Carl and Katherine Nairn Tegtmeier. She was married Dec. 15, 1886, to Louis A. Knittel who died March 31, 1915.

Mrs. Knittel resided in Waterloo since 1887, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Biddulph of Elmhurst, ID., and two sons, Louis H. Knittel of 1008 W. 4th St., and Horace C. Knittel of Iowa Falls.

There are also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Her husband, along with two daughters and a son, preceded her in death.

Funeral services are pending at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolina Knittel, 88, of 1008 West Fourth St., who died at 6 a.m. Monday will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the O'Keefe & Towne funeral home. Dr. H. E. Dierenfield, pastor of First Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
