Jesse Greenley, 45. former Waterloo resident, died in an Independence hospital at 6:30 p. m. Wednesday of a heart attack. He had been in poor health for six years.

He was born in Waterloo Jan. 23, 1888, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Greenley. He lived in Waterloo until his health failed, being employed as a machinist at the Illinois Central Railroad shops.

He is survived by five children, Richard, Betty, Wayne, Jack and Maxine, all living at 112 Mill Street; his mother. Mrs. George Schmidt, 325 Clay Street; three sisters, Mrs. F. M. Fuller, 212 Clay Street; Mrs. Waiter Crawford, Chicago, and Mrs. Lela White, Saint Paul, and two half-brothers, Leo Henry, Manly, Ia., and Robert Henry, 325 Clay Street

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at the O'Keefe & Towne chapel by Rev. Warren L. Sleeves, pastor of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
