LICHTY, SEGEBARTH, BIERMANN, NASH

Mildred M. Lichty, 92, formerly of Waterloo, Wykoff and Rochester, Minn., Cedarville, Ohio, and Newnan, Ga., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 12, 2014. She died at the home of her granddaughter, Danyse Bourgeois, in Navarre, Fla., surrounded by family.

She was born June 11, 1921, to Louis and Laura (Biermann) Segebarth. On Dec. 26, 1940, she married Keith C. Lichty at Walnut Street Baptist Church, Waterloo. Together they farmed in the Waterloo area and later operated dairy farms in Fillmore County and Rochester. In 1978 they moved to Cedarville, and then moved on to Newnan in 1992. Keith died July 11, 2003.

Mrs. Lichty is survived by a daughter, Deanna L. (Tom) Nash of Rochester; two sons, Galen K. (Pam) Lichty and Daniel C. (Donna) Lichty, both of Newnan; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Lichty of Newnan; nine grandchildren, Chris Nash (Conrad) Amy, Todd (Susan) Nash, Brenda Nash (Brian) Lamonica, Samantha Lichty (Kevin) Smallhorn, Sunny Lichty (Matt) Comte, David (Laurie) Biastock, Danna Lichty (David) Dykema, Danyse Lichty (Jason) Bourgeois and Daniel M. (Jennifer) Lichty; 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; a great-granddaughter, Savannah Lamonica; a grandson-in-law; and five brothers.

Services will begin at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, on April 26, with visitation at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Orange Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to Coweta Pregnancy Services of Newnan, Ga., or Baptist Children’s Home of Valparaiso, Ind.
