Shortly after 12 o'clock this morning James Collins, aged sixty-seven years, passed away at his home, 125 Lincoln Street, after being confined to his bed for the past two weeks, suffering from tuberculosis. Deceased was a pioneer resident of this city, having come here more than thirty years ago, and residing in this city continuously since that time. For the past several years he has lived alone at his home on Lincoln Street, being attended during his last illness by Herman Hue. His death has been expected for the past few days, as it was realized by the attending physician that the end was near.

Wallace of Chicago and Edward of Cape Gerard, Mo.
