EAGLE TOWNSHIP FARMER DIES OF PNEUMONIA

Peter Kline, a prominent and well known farmer, died at his home on mile north of Eagle Center, at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, after a three weeks' illness of pneumonia. He was forty-seven years of age at the time of death, and leaves a wife to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband. No children are living. Three brothers survive, being Henry and John who reside near Eagle Center and William of Hoxter, Iowa.

Several weeks ago he was taken ill but his ailment did not develop into anything serious until three weeks ago, when the attending physician pronounced the disease as pneumonia

All that medical skill could do to pre vent his death, proved futile, and the end came despite the efforts of kind and loving friends and relatives.

The funeral services will be held a 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning: at the Eagle Center Catholic church, in charge of Rev. Father Takin. Short services will be held at the home at 9 o'clock in the morning.
