WATERLOO - Cayd Allen Sapp, 21, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, April 14, 2014.

He was born March 19, 1993, in Waterloo, son of David L. Sapp and Leslie J. Moore.

Cayd graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2011. He was currently employed with Iowa Wall Systems and was a mechanic at Warren Transport.

Survived by his father and stepmother, David and Kathy Sapp of Waterloo; his mother, Leslie Moore of Waterloo; maternal grandmother, Cathryn Shea of Raymond; maternal grandfather, Dennis Moore of Fairbank; maternal grandmother, Candy Moore of Waterloo; paternal grandmother, Linda Sapp of Elk Run Heights; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Moore of Waterloo; maternal great-grandparents, Gary and Donna Fogle of Waterloo; maternal stepgrandparents, Steven (Geri) Franklin of Evansdale; a special friend, Taylor Ringelstetter of La Porte City; five brothers, David Sapp II of Clearwater, Fla., Daniel Sapp of Austin, Texas, and Cody Moore, Eric Sapp and Kyle Moore, all of Waterloo; and a niece, Kylie Moore of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Eugene Moore; and paternal grandfather, Larry Sapp.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
