WATERLOO - Norma Jean Troudt, 82, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at ManorCare Health Services.

She was born July 1, 1924, in Springfield, Ill., daughter of August and Nora Brewer Lindquist. She married Robert Troudt on Nov. 16, 1947, in Springfield,

Mrs. Troudt graduated from St. John's School of Nursing, Springfield, in 1947. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital, Allen Memorial Hospital, Sartori Memorial Hospital and Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, retiring in 1972.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald R. (Carolyn) and Michael (Sheila), both of Waterloo; four daughters, Diana Arter and Janice (David) Niederhauser, both of Waterloo, Karen (Vernon) Slessor of Plainfield and Mary Ann (Dennis) Pryor of Springfield, Ill.; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a grandson; three brothers, Everett, Ralph and Charles Lindquist; and a sister, Mary Louise Lindquist.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.
