CEDAR FALLS - Ruth M. Rugger, 81, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at the Western Home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Hazleton, daughter of Grant and Leona Hoffman Wilson. She married Robert E. Barron. He died in March 1953. She married William Rugger in 1967 in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Survived by two daughters, Dianne Reuter of Unionville, Mo., and Linda Fisher of Waterloo; a son, Ronald R. Barron of Bellevue, Neb.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert G. Wilson of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Maree Jung of Waterloo.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Chapel of Memories-West Family Funeral Care, with burial in Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Saturday at the chapel.
