DUNKERTON - Charlotte A. Manchester, 74, of Dunkerton, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born March 26, 1940, in Iowa City, daughter of Glen Sr. and Dorothy Tyler Garetson. On Nov. 18, 1958, she married Marlin Lee Manchester at the Little Brown Church, Nashua; he died Jan. 31, 2000.

Charlotte graduated from high school in Aurora in 1957.

Survived by three sons, Marty (Georgianna) of Center Point, Kirk (Jena) of Agency and Terry (Wanda) of Dunkerton; a daughter, Jeanne (Brian) Roquet of Dunkerton; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; five brothers, Glen (Doris) and Larry (Dee) Garetson, both of Center Point, Kenny (Audrey) Garetson of Lamont, James (Carol) Garetson of Austin, Texas, and John (Vicki) Garetson of Ankeny; and a sister, Stella (Richard) Miller of Chicago.

Preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter.

Visitation and time for remembering: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at White Funeral Home, Jesup.

Memorials may be directed to various churches and charities.
