George E. Gould

Time of funeral services for George E. Gould, 81, who died Thursday at his home, 321 Butler Avenue, changed from 3 p.m. Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday because a son, J. O. Gould, Minneapolis, was unable to reach Waterloo until Saturday.

The services will be conducted at the Hileman & Gindt Chapel by Rev. J. S. Lilley, pastor of Linden Methodist Episcopal Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Another son, F. E. Gould, arrived Friday from Chicago. A third son, Bert E. Gould, Alhambra, Cal., was unable to come for the funeral.

Mr. Gould had been a resident of Black Hawk County for 73 years, having come to Raymond, Ia., as a boy with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delos Gould, in 1860, before the railroad had penetrated this territory.

His mother died here at the age of 93 and a brother, Henry, died here many years ago.
