Ted L. Breitbach, 50, of Clive and formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1991, at his home of cancer.

He was born Sept. 12, 1941, in Creston, son of Louis and Ida Hamilton Breitbach.

He had lived in the Des Moines area since 1970 and was owner and president of Breitbach Associates Industrial Finishing Systems

Survivors include his parents, of Waterloo; his wife, Francine, of Clive; two sons, Michael T. of Rochester, Minn., and James P. of West Des Moines; two brothers, Joe H. of Waverly, and Dan D. of Waterloo; a sister, Mary Lou Breitbach Oelwein; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Breitbach of Manchester, in February of 1990

Services will be 1 p.m. at the Windsor United Methodist Church in Des Moines with burial in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, andthe family will receive friends between 5 and 7 p.m. today at Dunn's Funeral Home in Des Moines; memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Central Iowa.
