Judy Miller, 74, of Shell Rock, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born June 10, 1939 in Cedar Falls, daughter of Allen and Elsie (Bencke) Winkey. She married Vern Miller; they later divorced.

Judy graduated from Hawkeye Community College. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Shell Rock.

Survived by two sons, Robert Miller of Sarasota, Fla., and Bart (Kim) Miller of Shell Rock; a daughter, Julie Miller of Shell Rock; five grandchildren; four sisters, Sharon White of Phoenix, Deb Bowen of Ely, Di (Randy) Miller of Clarksville and Denise (Bill) Rethamel of Muscatine; a brother, Steve (Diane) Winkey of Aplington and David (Dianna) Winkey, Austin, Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Allen Miller.

Memorial Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Shell Rock, at a later date. Visitation for an hour and a half before services at the church. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
