Nathan Raines Pauley, 91, 204 Glendale Street, died at 12:30 a. m. Monday in a Waterloo hospital, where he was taken a week ago following a fall off the porch of his home, Mr. Pauley fracturing his hip.

He was born Feb. 7, 1843, at Lima, O., the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pauley. He married Miss Ellen Sturtz 64 years ago at Clarksvllle, Ia.

Surviving are six daughters: Mrs. Mae Myrick, Clarksvllle; Mrs. Meta Crase, 614 Fowler Street; Mrs. R. M. Howell, New York City: Mrs. Sarah Worllng, Sulphur. Okla.: Mrs. S. P. Hamlyn. 1528 Fifth Street West, and Mrs. J. C. McGown, 1104 Ackermant.

His wife died two years ago at Clarksville, and two sons, William and Frank, preceded him in death.

The body was taken to the Kearns Funeral Home.
