LeRoy Babcock, 62, of 2307 California St., Cedar Falls, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, of cancer.

He was born Feb. 5, 1904 in Wausau, Wis., the son of Harvey and Emily Hanke Babcock

He had operated the Perfection Sales and Service firm, at 409 Duryea St., Waterloo, the past 10 years. He previously was an employe of the Studebaker Garage. Mr. Babcock was a member of the Waterloo Elks Club.

Survivors are one brother Glenn, Seattle, Wash., and his mother, Mrs. Emily Tippey, with whom he lived.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, Waterloo, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
