CEDAR FALLS - Craig L. Marion Sr., 93, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Aug. 24, 1912, in Jennings, La., son of Jesse L. and Eunice E. Potier Marion. He married Betty Ann Baker on July 5, 1952, in Elkhart, Ind.

Mr. Marion served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He owned and operated Craig L. Marion Co., CPAs, Rockford, Ill., until retiring in 1992.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice M. (Scott) Bittner of Cedar Falls; four sons, Jeffery L. (Suzanne) of Newport Richey, Fla., Jerrold R. (Martha) of Rockton, Ill., John R. (Ada) of Mandeville, La., and Craig L. Jr. (Jo) of Mesquite, Texas; 13 grandchildren, David and Rebecca Marion, Keeley and Craig Bittner, Andrew Marion, Matthew and Ada Kathryn Marion, Jesse and Matthew Marion, Deborah Marion Massey, Danny, Gary and Anthony Marion; five great-grandchildren, Drew and Shelby Massey, Hunter, Stone and Sage Marion; and a sister, Wanda (Ed) Fulkerson of Dallas, Texas.

Preceded in death by a son, Lanny Marion; two brothers; and three sisters.

Family memorial services: will be later in Louisiana. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or charity of donors choice.
