Hattie Isabel Borden, 81, died at her home, 1325 Leavitt street, at 3 a. in. Monday of a heart ailment and complications.

She was born Aug. 21, 1861, in Marion County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Rebecca Turner.

She was married to William Borden in South Wayne. Wis., on Oct. 22. 1878. She had been a Black Hawk County resident for 43 years, altho she formerly lived in Harlan county. Nebraska. She was a member of Linden Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons. W. A. Borden, 1325, Lenvitt Street: C. A. Borden, 103g Dawson Street, and Orma Borden. Denver. Colo., and one daughter, Elfretta, Los Angeles, Cal. Her husband preceded her in death Oct. 22, 1921.

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Kearns Garden Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Isabel Borden, 81. who died at the home of her son, W. A. Borden. 1325 Leavitt Street, Monday, will be conducted at 10 a. m. Wednesday in the Kearns Garden Chapel by Rev. J. H. Engel, pastor of Calvary Evangelical Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Frank Bisdorf, J. W. Steely, O. H. Peek, Herbert E. Peek. C. A. Borden and W. A. Borden.
