WATERLOO - Antoinette M. "Lena" "Lee" Camarata, 95, of Western Home, Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Western Home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1913, in Chicago, daughter of John and Mary Pusateri Camarata.

She was employed with Powers Manufacturing Co. for 47 years, retiring in 1985. She was an avid traveler of both the United States and other countries and was active in many clubs, associations and charitable events, among which were the Waterloo/Cedar Falls chapters of the National Audubon Society (past president), Altrusa Professional Women's Association and the Little Sewing Club. She also was well known in golfing, bowling and square dance circles.

Survived by a sister, Pauline Camarata of Los Angeles; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Gus Camarata; and three sisters, Margaret Palmer, Mayme Sussman and Rose Palmer.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 7 p.m. rosary, and at the church for an hour before services Saturday.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
