Henry P. Pearsall, 72 of 1417 Baltimore St., died at his home Sunday morning about 4 a. m. of a heart attack.

He was born in La Porte City Aug. 27, 1892, the son of Henry P. and Mary E. Keefer. He married Mabel Robertson June 30, 1938 in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. A Navy veteran of World War I, he was an engineer on the Illinois Central! Railroad until retiring in 1953. He belonged to Waterloo Lodge No. 105 AF and AM; the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers; and Becker Chapman Post No. 138 of the American Legion and the Legion Drum and Bugle Corps.

His survivors include his widow, and one brother, Max E Pearsall of Palmetto, Fla.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Arrangements are pending at the Locke Funeral Home where friends may call after 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services will occur at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home for Henry P. Pearsall, 72, of 1417 Baltimore St., who died of a heart attack at his home Sunday. The Rev. C. Wayne Overholser, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, is to officiate, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Masonic rites will be conducted by Waterloo Lodge No. 105, AF&AM, and military rites by Becker-Chapman Post no. 138 of the American Legion.
