CEDAR FALLS - Clarence Jorgenson, 66, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at his home of cancer.

He was born June 9, 1939, in Minneapolis, son of Clarence Peter and Helen J. Hanson Jorgenson Sr. He married Janyce Engen on Jan. 24, 1958, in Minneapolis, and she died March 7, 1993. He then married Mary McDowell on Oct. 8, 1988, in Waterloo.

Mr. Jorgenson was a manager at Reed Cadillac Body Shop for 10 years and then owned and operated Reds Body Shop for 15 years, retiring in July 2004. He was a treasurer of the Cedar Valley Autobody Association.

Survived by his wife, Mary of Cedar Falls; five sons, Jeff (LeAnn) Jorgenson and Brad Jorgenson, both of Prior Lake, Minn., Mark (Sandy) Jorgenson of Waverly, Scott Jorgenson of Farmington, Minn., and Dana Eggleston of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Mary (Todd) Goetze of Shakopee, Minn., Thea Eggleston of Las Vegas and Margaret "Marggie" (Kevin) Yung of Marion; two sisters, Lillian (Larry) Oster of Woodbury, Minn., and Sharon (Jim) Kopp of Albert Lea, Minn.; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; two brothers, Archie and Ansel Jorgenson; and two sisters, Bernice Peterson and Phyllis Welch.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in the Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before the service Monday.
