CEDAR FALLS - Marjorie Anne Behrens, 82, of Cedar Falls, died at home Saturday, July 2, 2005.

She was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Iowa City, daughter of Axel and Freda Gloor Johnson. On June 9, 1945, she married Dale Behrens in Santa Monica, Calif. He died Nov. 25, 1999.

Mrs. Behrens graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1941. She worked at Douglas Aircraft in California during World War II and later Viking Pump Co., Cedar Falls, from where she retired. She was past president of the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 Auxiliary.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Dick) Bailey of Mundelein, Ill., and Diana Crumpton of Albany, Ore.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Smith of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Donald (Mary) Johnson of Tacoma, Wash.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment in Hillcrest Cemetery, rural Cedar Falls. Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Her body has been cremated. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
