The cremated remains of Mrs. Asa Roberts, 89, formerly of Waterloo and Cedar Palls, who died Feb. 13, at La Jolla, Cal., arrived in Waterloo Thursday. Committal services will be conducted at 3 p. m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery. Cedar Falls, by Rev. W. W. Bowers, pastor of First Methodist Episcopal Church,
Waterloo. Mrs. Roberts had a stroke Dec. 5, 1934.

Ellen E, Hollingsworth was born in September, 1845, at Mt. Carroll, Ill., and moved to Freeport with her parents when she was a young girl. She was married 60 years ago to John R. Wilson, who was killed four years later in an accident.

Later she was married to Asa Roberts of Grundy Center, Iowa, and the couple lived in Cedar Falls for a number of years. After Mr. Roberts' death 39 years ago Mrs. Roberts moved to Waterloo and made her home at 1021 Fourth Street West. In 1905 she moved to La Jolla.

Mrs. Roberts was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church at Waterloo.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. H. Holt, 834 Fourth Street West, and Miss Edna M. Wilson, La Jolla, with whom Mrs. Roberts made her home.
