CEDAR FALLS—Services for Cecil "Burr" Crosby, 76, of Leversee Road, Lot 3, are pending at Garden View Chapel, 3655 Logan Ave. He died Thursday morning at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 26, 1906, in Clarksville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Crosby. He married Ruth Wells in February 1929 in Clarksville and she died in 1937. He married Rosemary Smith Nov. 1, 1941, in Unionville, Mo. He was a carpenter for Kramer Construction Company.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Dick of Charles City; three stepsons, Lawrence Smith of 1936 College St., Marvin Smith of Clarksville and Lavern Smith of Parkview Gardens Care Center; two daughters, Norma Izer of 2002 Lincoln St. and June Ann Ackerman of Clarksville; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
