Funeral services for Mrs. William Melvold, 65, of Ashland Wis., who died there of a heart ailment Oct. 1, will be Saturday at 1:30 p. m. at the Chapel of Memories. The Rev. H. A. Wilke, pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Midwest Garden of Memories [Waterloo].

A native of Elgin, Ill., Mrs Melvold was born Anna Sturm Aug. 22, 1889, daughter of Anton and Mary Sturm. She was married July 11, 1908, to William Melvold at Ashland and resided there

Surviving besides the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Viola Herbsleb, 1710 Huntington Rd., Mrs. Eleanor Burness, 225 Allen St., and Mrs. Lorraine Tuttle, 1023 Wilbert St. There are also one son, Wilfred, of Lawndale, Calif.; nine grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers.

The sisters are Mrs. Louise Salsbury, 1104 Byron St., Mrs. Minnie Bouck, 458 La Porte Rd., and Mrs. Rose Salsbury, Milwaukee. The brothers are John Sturm, 1104 Byron St.; Henry Sturm, 1301 W. Sixth SL, Anton Sturm of Owatonna, Minn., and William, of near Waterloo.
