Linda Louise Lenz Sink, 62, died Tuesday July 8, 2008, at home of cancer.

She was born May 8, 1946 in Whittemore, Iowa, daughter of Ernest O. and Mildred Schumacher Lenz. She married Dan Sink on October 1, 1966 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Waterloo. She attended St. Johns Catholic School and Columbus High School graduating in 1964. She was employed at St. Patrick School in Cedar Falls for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband; four daughters: Kristin (Chris) Olmstead, Teresa Sink, Molly (Craig) Skilling, and Anna (Mike) Lind, all of Waterloo; two sons, Steve (Lora) of Cedar Falls and Dan (Carrie) of Minneapolis; seventeen grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Mildred (Russ) Peterson; three sisters: Margaret (Max) Klein, Patricia (David) Minard, and Mary (Matt) Jones, all of Waterloo; a special sister-in-law Susan (Dave) Douglas of Tulsa, Okla.; many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father and a sister, Carol Ann Bott.

Services will be: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with internment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St. There will be no visitation at the church on Friday.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Hospice Queen of Peace Church St. Patrick's School Columbus High School.
