Ruth was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to garden and enjoyed giving away plants and vegetables to anyone who admired them. Her green apple pies were a family favorite that Mom and Dad made every summer together. She spent countless hours making quilts with neighborhood children and family. We are all comforted by them each day. She loved caring for patients in nursing homes and in their own homes. Her generous nature was a blessing to many people.
