Memorial services for Mrs. Cleo C. Owen, 70, of 1003 Lincoln St. will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Rev. James T. Robinson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Mrs. Owen died at Schoitz Memorial Hospital at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday of a coronary. She donated her body to the University of Iowa Medical Department for medical research. Memorials may be directed to the Heart Fund through the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.

She was born Dec. 13, 1902, in Boston, Ky., the daughter of Joseph and Lula Edwards. She had been hospitalized since July 2. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 764.

On March 20, 1971, she was married to Harry K. Owen in Waterloo.

She is survived by her father, Joseph Edwards of Tampa, Fla.; her husband; three stepsons, Gordon Owen of 432 Woodbridge St.; Larry Owen of 315 Gayle St., and Richard of 298 Gilbert Dr., Elk Run Heights; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Wood of 1019 Columbia St., and one step-daughter, Mrs. Leo Winegard, 400 Idaho St.; one brother, Joseph Edwards, Jr., Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Marcus Carlyle of Louisville, Ky., three grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and two husbands.

There will be no visitation. Nottger Funeral Home of Cedar Falls in charge of arrangements.
