Funeral services for Leonard E. McGinley, 57, of 711 W. Fifth St. and Dodge Center, Minn., were conducted last week at Dodge Center, with burial in Riverside Cemetery there.

Mr. McGinley was killed at about 6:30 p.m. June 23 in an auto accident north of Austin. Minn. Death was due to multiple head and chest injuries.

He was born June 21, 1916, in West Concord, Minn., the son of Barney and Alice Mosher McGinley. He married Gladys Muntean on May 5, 1938, at Kasson, Minn. They farmed in the Dodge Center and Spring Valley areas until three years ago, when Mr. McGinley became an employee of the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works. He commuted weekly between his Dodge Center home and his Waterloo residence.

Mr. McGinley, a World War II veteran, was a member of the Dodge Center American Legion, the Dodge County Farm Bureau, and Local 330 United Auto Workers Union.

Survivors include his wife of Dodge Center; four sons, Ronald of 1237 Garden Ave., Richard of Kasson, Roger of Owatonna, Minn., and Leonard Jr. at home; three daughters, Mrs. James Capelle of 466 Idaho St., Mrs. Peter Cunningham of Rochester, Minn., and Debbie at home; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Moreland of Rochester and Mrs. Glenn Elias of South St. Paul, Minn.
