Mrs. Catherine Reuter, 86, formerly of 1810 Mulberry St., died at Parkview Gardens Care Center Monday morning of complications of age.

Services will be at St. John's Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Donald Friedell member of the team ministry, officiating. Rosary services will be at Oppold Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday. Scripture service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Reuter was born Catherine Weiden Aug. 22, 1886, at Mankato, Ill., the daughter of William and Mary Kraus Weiden.

She was married to John Reuter Oct. 17, 1906, in Gilbertville. He preceded her in death in 1954. She was a member of St, John's Catholic Church and Rosary Society.

Surviving are six sons: Edward of 114 Clay St., Richard of 1654 Liberty St., Floyd of 115 E. Ridgeway Ave., Leo of 2924 Scenic Drive, Cedar Falls, Fancis of Jesup, and Harold of rural Jesup; four daughters: Mrs. Anna Brown of 124 Rhey St, Mrs. Floyd Baughman of 616 Wyoming St., Mrs. James Waerenborg of 2120 Mulberry St., and Mrs. Ecko Johnson of 2126 Mulberry St.; 16 grand children, and 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers: Joe and John of rural Waterloo, Henry of Jesup, and Nick of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Hogan of Oelwein and Miss Grace Weiden of 416 South St.

She was preceed in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one sister and three brothers.
