Funeral services for Elmer Clarence Weidman, 79, of 337 North Roosevelt Road, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Mr. Weidman died at his home at 11 p.m. Saturday of a heart attack.

Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West until 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, when the casket will be taken lo the church. Friends may view at the church until service time.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1892 in Deshler, Neb., the son of Sam and Emma Kaberle Weidman. He married Marie Hemsath on Sept. 5, 1916, in Waterloo.

Mr. Weidman was a resident of the Waterloo area for the past 70 years. He farmed in this vicinity and later worked for the National Bank of Waterloo. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, 337 North Roosevelt Road, Evansdale; two sons, Norman of 1460 Robin Road and Delbert of 1245 Shaulis Road; four daughters, Miss Florence Weidman of 416 South St., Mrs. Frank Mitchell of Beloit, Wis., Mrs. Roger Wagner of 2711 Crestline, and Mrs. Donald Potter of Waupacka, Wis.; one brother, Milton Weidman of Denver; one sister, Mrs. Emil Marquardt of 1517 Bertch Ave.; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and two brothers.
