WATERLOO - Matthew W. Mills, 34, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, of natural causes.

He was born March 17, 1979, in Cedar Falls, son of Alan Mills and Marcia Chihak.

Matthew had been employed by Panera Bread.

Survived by his mother and stepfather, Marcia Chihak and Starrett Wright of Waterloo; his father and stepmother, Alan and Linda Mills of Waterloo; a brother, Nathan of Waterloo; a sister, Miranda Mills of Waterloo; and a niece, Mikhayla Lundak.

Preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation. The body will not be present.

Memorials may be directed to the family for designation to a charity of their choice.
