Eunice Mary (Baumgartner), 81, passed away Feb. 20, 2006 in St. Helens, Oregon.

She was born in Waterloo on Aug. 24, 1924, and was a former resident of Cleveland, Ohio. Eunice was a retired English and speech teacher with the South Euclid-Lyndhurst (Ohio) school system, and was active in her church.

She is survived by her three children; Kathy Nolan of Louisville, Kentucky, Mary Crist of Warren, Oregon, and Stephen Lentz of Berkley, Michigan; two sisters, Rachel Doran and Becky Bierwirth, both of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters.

A memorial service for family will be held in Iowa. Memorial gifts may be made to charity.
