WATERLOO - Ethel C. Miller, 83, of Apopka, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at the Sunbelt Health Care and Subacute Center, Apopka.

She was born June 26, 1922, in Mena, Ark., daughter of Granville and Vida Lively Bowen. She married James H. Miller Nov. 23, 1941, in Mena. He preceded her in death May 3, 1999.

Survived by a son, James of Sorrento, Fla.; a daughter, Reba (Dean) Stromwall of Apopka; and a grandson.

Preceded in death by a brother, Cleston Bowen.

Services: are planned for Wednesday afternoon at Garden View Chapel, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home for an hour before services.

Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Hospice.
