Word has been received here of the death Oct, 4 of Frank A. Lufkin, 71, at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, following surgery in a hospital there.

A native of Black Hawk County, Mr. Lufkin was born Oct. 21, 1882, a son of Frederick and Martha Lufkin. He married Pearl Hedges, Cedar Falls, a former school teacher, March 15, 1907, and farmed in Bennington Township until moving to Canada in 1916.

Mr. Lufkin was active in farming until 10 years ago when he retired and moved to Cudworth, Saskatchewan.

Survivors include two daughters and three sons, all of Canada. They are Mrs. Velma Renneberg, Mrs. Betty Bens and Harold, Delmer and Roger Lufkin. There are also two botchers, Earl T. Lufkin, Cylinder, and Charles C., 2322 Lafayette St., and two sisters, Mrs. H. R. Crumrine, 737 Baltimore St., and Mrs. James T. Griffith, Independence

Additional survivors include 10 grandchildren. Burial was at Prince Albert, Canada.
