WATERLOO - Ruselyn "Rusty" Potwin Wolkenhauer, 49, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., formerly of Waterloo, died Feb. 3, 2014, of liver failure.

She was born April 1, 1964, in Waterloo, daughter of Richard and Ruth Zubrod Potwin. She married Tim Wolkenhauer; he preceded her in death.

Rusty was a 1982 graduate of Waterloo East High School and had attended college in Minnesota. She worked at International Palm Resort & Conference Center.

Survived by a son, Nicholas of Cocoa Beach; a daughter, Madison Wolkenhauer of Cocoa Beach; her mother of Waterloo; a brother, Craig Potwin of Waterloo; a sister, Stacy Beeghly of Conrad; and a half brother, David Platz of Broomfield, Colo.

Preceded in death by her father and grandparents.

Memorial services 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, West 11th Street and Byron Ave.
