RAYMOND, TRAGORD, LOY, THARP

WATERLOO - Mary Louise Raymond, 89, of Waterloo, formerly of Ottumwa and Dysart, died at home Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014.

She was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Ottumwa, daughter of Elvin and Rose Loy Tragord. She married Robert J. Raymond on Oct. 26, 1946, at Linden Methodist Church, Waterloo; he died Dec. 21, 1986.

Mary worked at Rath Meat Packing in the fresh sausage department, retiring in 1983 after 34 years. She was a member of Dysart United Methodist Church.

Survived by four sons, Bob (Sonya Kosnar) of Gladbrook, Larry of Conrad, James of Waterloo and Gary (Christopher Clark) of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Susan (Bill) Tharp of Vinton; six grandchildren: six great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, LaMona Tragord.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou; a daughter-in-law, Deb Raymond; three brothers, a twin, Elvin "Junior Tragord, and Chuck and Bill Tragord; and a sister, Rose Tragord.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd. Visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
