WATERLOO - Anna Mae Reagan, 85, of Las Cruces, N.M., formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Las Cruces.

She was born May 30, 1928, in Kanawha, daughter of J. Oliver and Anna Shaw Fosen. She married Ray R. Reagan on Dec. 17, 1950, in Waterloo. He died November of 1999.

Her family moved to Waterloo in 1942 and she graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1946 where she worked as an office secretary before and after graduation. Anna Mae was involved in the USO during World War II. She went on to work in the office for Takin Brothers Transfer and Storage until August of 1951. She then became a full-time wife and mother.

Survived by three daughters, Glenda (Rubin) Jarman, Rachel Roth and Sheila (Ed) Eilers; a son, Ray Jr. (Pat); nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carey Liljegren; a brother, Lawrence Fosen; and a son-in-law, Dan Roth.

Graveside memorial service: is planned for late May in Steamboat Rock. Getz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In June of 2000, she moved in with her daughter, Sheila, Ed and Elias, as she needed care because of her rheumatoid arthritis. Fourteen years later, she passed in Las Cruces because of the effects of her condition.
