WATERLOO - Judy Ann Shrum, 73, of Stacyville, formerly of Austin, Minn., died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Waterloo, daughter of Clarence and Beulah Wells Weekley. She married Lawrence R. Rust Sr. on Oct. 31, 1958, and they later divorced.

Survived by a son, Larry (Sarah) Rust of Lyle, Minn.; a daughter, Darlene Martin of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, Raquel (Danny) Anderson, Ryan Rust, Anthony Rust, Lucas Rust, Dana (Lester) Jefferson, Dawn Laws and Darius Phillips; eight great-grandchildren, Chase, Addyson, Amari, Niya, Leana, Taija, Tyvon and Tiana; three brothers, Larry Weekley of Independence, Jerry (Julia) Weekley of Waterloo and Billy (Sally) Weekley of Kirksville, Mo.; and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Amber; and 13 siblings.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Worlein Funeral Home, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Grandview Cemetery, both in Austin.

Judy made her home in Tennessee, Waterloo, and for the past 15 years in Austin. She had a strong faith in Jesus and loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
