WATERLOO - Wilma Dorothy Haug, 84, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at her home.

She was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Sumner, daughter of Louis and Emma Priebe Dreier. She was a graduate of Sumner High School. She married Charles R. Haug in 1944 in Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Haug lived their entire married life in Waterloo. He preceded her in death July 28, 1992.

Mrs. Hauge had worked on the sliced bacon line at Rath Packing Co. for 34 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and was active in the Kimball Ridge Senior Citizens Center. Wilma enjoyed fishing and crafts, and she devoted her time caring for her granddaughter, Kris.

Survivors include two daughters, Marybeth Tompkins of Waterloo and Carol Haug of Rochester, Minn.; three grandchildren, Kris, Jodi and Colin; and three sisters, Arlene (Maynard) Rowe of Peosta, Gladys Daniel of Atlantic and Lois Ackerman of Dysart.

Preceded in death by parents; husband; and four brothers, Virgil, Harry, Ralph and Lowell Dreier.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas in Cedar Rapids or Cedar Valley Community Support Services in Waterloo.
