LA PORTE CITY - Robert J. Clark, 61, of rural La Porte City, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Midwest Regional Medical Center, Zion, Ill., following a brief illness.

He was born June 1, 1944, in Independence, son of John Mills and Elizabeth Leona Reck Clark. He farmed in rural la Porte City.

Survivors include his father of La Porte City; a brother, Richard of La Porte City; and a sister, Susan Werning of Newhall.

Preceded in death by his mother.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with burial in Spring Creek Township Cemetery, rural La Porte City. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
