CEDAR FALLS - Elizabeth F. Pedersen, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born April 10, 1922, in Howard County, daughter of Charles Frederick and Madge Carolyn Perry Fish. She married C. Robert Pedersen July 30, 1944, in Cedar Falls.

She graduated from Lime Springs High School and attended the American Institute of Business, Des Moines. Mrs. Pedersen worked as a secretary at Rath Packing Co., Peoples Bank and Trust and as guidance office secretary at Peet Junior High School, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter FE and First Congregational Church.

Survived by her husband; a son, Robert F. (Deborah) Pedersen of Dunlap, Ill.; a daughter, Susan E. (David) Hopkins of Fort Dodge; eight grandchildren, Angela S. (Sean) OConnor, Timothy D. (Roseann) Polashek, Matthew L. (Erin) Polashek, Nicholas S. Polashek, Michael D. Lokken-Hopkins, Angela D. Lokken-Hopkins, Katrina S. Pedersen and Robert D. Pedersen; two great-grandchildren, Zephan and Nolan OConnor; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Pedersen of Waterloo and Margaret Clement of Richmond, Va.

Preceded in death by her parents; and twin brothers, David and Donald Fish.

Services: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at First Congregational Church, Waterloo, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
