EVANSDALE - Dorothy Clara Magee, 92, of Evansdale, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born June 26, 1912, in Dunkerton, daughter of Roy and Clara Baish Cummings. She married Alfred D. Magee on June 26, 1928, in Dunkerton. He died Oct. 19, 1994.

Mrs. Magee worked on the sliced bacon line at Rath Packing Co. and had been a checker at Piggly Wiggly and Eagles Foods.

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Sharon) of Dickeyville, Wis.; two daughters, Rosalie (Harry) Tisue of Waterloo and Bonnie (Charles) Massey of 29 Palms, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iona (Alex) Deidrick of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert; a grandson in infancy; a granddaughter in infancy; a great-grandson in infancy; and two brothers, Clayton and Howard Cummings.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Dunkerton. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
